These terms cover using Quizd, an app for building product-recommendation quizzes for Shopify stores. By installing Quizd or creating an account, you agree to them. Questions: support@quizd.app.
The service
Quizd lets you build quizzes, publish them as pages on your store, send shoppers to products, and see the results. Quizd is free while it’s in early access. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you in advance, and nothing is charged without your approval through Shopify.
Your account and store
- You need a Shopify store and must be allowed to install apps on it.
- You’re responsible for what your quizzes say, the products and offers they show, and following the laws that apply to your store and your marketing, including privacy and consumer protection laws.
- Keep your login safe. You’re responsible for activity under your account and any access you share with others.
Your content and data
Your quizzes, products, and your shoppers’ answers belong to you. You let us store and process them to run Quizd for you, as described in our privacy policy. If you connect other tools (Klaviyo, pixels, webhooks), you’re responsible for your use of them.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Quizd to mislead shoppers, collect information they haven’t agreed to give, break the law, or try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Results and numbers
Quizd reports which orders came from quizzes using the information Shopify provides. We work to make it accurate, but we don’t guarantee any level of sales or that every order is matched.
Availability and changes
We may change or improve Quizd, and may suspend accounts that break these terms. We aim to keep Quizd running, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Quizd isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling Quizd from your Shopify admin. Your quizzes go offline and your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
